Curling your can save you time

Ok, ok, I get it. Curling your hair takes more time and it takes more energy to do, but hear me out. Have you ever thought that curling could help you save more time in the long run? Have you ever considered that curly hair gives a better foundation to your hairstyle then having it straight? Let’s dive deeper into this so you can see why curling can be good option for you.

When I take the time to curl my hair, I can stretch my hair longer between washes. I know, it sounds to good to be true, but it is! I tend to curl my hair a little tighter than I normally would, and as the days go on, that curl relaxes and gives me a different look every day. I also tend to touch my hair less when its curled which helps minimize the oil on my hair.

I love to style my hair up when I’m on the tail end of my wash cycle. It helps me stretch my hair a few more days before I have to wash it. The style that I choose to do turns out so much better when the hair is curled before hand. I can hide the fly-aways better and I don’t have crazy ends sticking out. Sure, I could curl my hair before I style it, but it takes that much more time to do that.

Upstyle created with Day 6 dirty hair. A few bobby pins and hair bands were used.

Curling your hair also highlights your hair color. One of my favorite things to do for my client is to curl their hair. It accents that beautiful color, making it look effortless and natural. I feel the same way when I curl my hair.

Next week, we are going to dive deeper into flat iron curls and what you can do to make them last longer and look better. I can’t wait to show you more!
