Quick Dutch Braid Hairstyle

Worried braids are old news? In my opinion, braids will always be around. I love how they elevate a style and make me feel extra fancy. This easy hairstyle can get you through your work day and seamlessly take you to your dinner date later that night. Where do you see yourself wearing this hairstyle? Keep reading below for a step by step breakdown.

1. Start by sectioning the hair as shown in the diagram. I leave about a 1 inch part in the front to use later.

2. Create a dutch braid with the hair that was sectioned off.

3. Pancake the braid to make it look thicker and fuller. Do that by pinching the outer edge of each braid and gently pulling it out.

4. Take the hair on either side of the braid and connect it into a ponytail. Secure with a hair tie.

5. Use a topsy turvy tool to conceal the rubber band. Do that by inserting the tool into the band. Wrap a section of hair around the band, loop it into the tool, and pull the tool through the band.

6. Voila!
