Men’s gift guide

My husband loves the element of surprise. He was that kid growing up that stayed in his room on Christmas Eve and never went downstairs to see what Santa brought him. I’d like to say that I did the same thing, buuutttt it’s simply not the case. I loved the thrill of finding out before everyone else. What kind of kid were you growing up?

Back to the topic at hand, I never know what to get my husband for Christmas. He never tells me what he wants because he wants to keep it a surprise. If you read my last post, I hate trying to play the guessing game. Whatever I do get him he loves, but I always wonder if there’s something better out there, you know what I mean? My guess is that you feel the same way so… My husband, brothers, and I put together a list of gift ideas for the men in your life. Yes, this is mostly hair and skin products, but I find that these gifts are perfect for most occasions.

I will tell you that most of these products can be found on Amazon, and I’ve created links for easy access for you. Some links are affiliate links and I make a small commission if you purchase

So let’s get to it!

  1. American Crew Fiber– This is a great pomade for all different hair types. It holds the style well with out the feel of gel. Put on the hair while it’s damp for optimum results
  2. Beard Grooming Kit– This is a basic kit designed to help tame and soften your man’s beard. I personally haven’t tried this myself, but the reviews are promising
  3. Thinking Putty- Think slime for adults. This is a great thing for him to stay focused while working. This comes highly recommended by my brother.
  4. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo– This is hands down my favorite product for men. It’s got a cooling sensation that feels great on the scalp and helps fight dandruff. This is my most requested product when I carry it in my salon.
  5. Dollar Shave Club– My husband got this subscription a few years back and he loves it! The blades are high quality and he loves the products that come with it. He normally gets bad razor burn, but not after using these products, it’s amazing!
  6. Wahl Trimmer Set– A men’s neckline is always the first to look shaggy between hair cuts. This trimmer set is a great tool to help clean up the neck area and to stretch time between hair cuts. These attachments allow you to groom the beard too.

And there you have it! The list is short and simple, but I think you’ll find it very helpful. I know I’ll be stocking up on that tea tree shampoo! Do you have any other gift ideas? I’d love to add them to the list!
